Comments : made from grapes grown in various well-exposed sections of the “en remilly” this is a full-bodoed and elegant wine which reflects the quality of its neighbour, grand cru chevalier montrachet, some 50 metres away. although connoisseurs might prefer the chassagne blanc du clos du chateau they are not indifferent to the nectar of this wine.
Excellent flavour and superb quality-price value, ideal for dining with friends. Also highly recommended as an aperitif or with shrimps.
colour: golden – wheat
nose: shows complexity with dry and fresh fruits dominating
palate : well-structured, richly flavoured, marked by its terroir (soil of origin)
