MIMEUR THE STRATEGIC ADVANTAGE OF VINES IN THE DOMAINE DU CHATEAU
The vines in the DOMAINE
DU CHATEAU DE CHASSAGNE MONTRACHET have been tended
by BADER MIMEUR from 1919, they have all been
replanted at least once and the clone selected after great reflection
of possibilities.
The presshouse and the location of the Domaine, within the CLOS
DU CHATEAU, give the assurance to follow the regular
evolution of the vines. This allows for immediate action if
necessary.
This geographic situation allows minimum time between harvesting
the grapes and the start of the vinification, with the crop
arriving at the presshouse in optimal condition

The vines planted outside the CLOS DU CHATEAU are very close to the Presshouse,
the furthest barely 1 Km distant. This very satisfactory for
their close surveillance. |
