n 1919 CHARLES MIMEUR purchased the “Clos du Chateau de Chassagne Montrachet”, and the building used for the operation of the “domaine”.

His son-in-law Charles BADER and his daughter Elise developed sales, particularly in Paris, starting with a cellar in the "Halle aux Vins" and a boutique in the ”Saint Dominique street”.
(The logo of the Domaine includes the initials CBM as in Charles BADER MIMEUR).

His grandson Pierre BADER followed the development by showing at exhibitions (Foire de Paris, Salon de l’Agriculture…….) The great-grandsons Marie-Pierre and Jean-Pierre took over the Domaine in 1993.
Marie-Pierre’s husband, Alain Fossier, has always been passionate about soil.
When he discovered vines and vinification in the ‘80s it was the start of a really grand passion. Today he is very happy to present the Domaine.
